Joseph John is a media person volunteering for the Global Reporter Channel. He started his public life as an Ecological Activist through Kerala Shasthra Sahithya Parishath (KSSP).
Professionally Joseph John is a Cathodic Protection Specialist and Coating Inspector (NACE Certified) NACE is an international Corrosion Engineers organization; Presently, he is serving as the Secretary of NACE Calgary Section. He also worked as the District President of the Malankara Catholic Youth Movement and the District Convener of the Technical Students and other regional organizations. He is one of the past presidents of the Malayalee Cultural Association of Calgary. He is also one of the founding members of NAMMAL (North American Media Center for Malayalam Arts and Literatue), and one of the chief organizers of Kavyasandhya, a forum for literature lovers in Calgary. He is also a member of the Canadian Media Guild. Also, volunteering and supporting ” Nammal Online” news portal (Nammal Online is a website run by a group of visionaries in Canada) will cover International, Indian, Kerala, and North American News.
He is also a volunteer for ” Nammalude Pallikkudam.” an initiative by Nammal Online for teaching Malayalam through online, who ever needs in Canada in association with Malayalam Mission ( In a bid to propagate the language worldwide, the Government of Kerala, under its Department of Culture)
